Exploring Life as an Ally, Writer, Future Lawyer/Politician

Writing Pieces in the Works

Hey guys!

I don’t know if I told you this, but I’m a write, which is part of the reason why decided to become an English major. I’ve always been good at reading- my mom helped me teach myself between 3 and 5- and it has always been ridiculously easy for me to write papers and things.

So, my sophomore year in high school I had my first ever creative writing assignment where we had to write a story about what ever in the world we wanted to, we just had to go through these very detailed character development steps. Just a little back ground info: I went through a lot of bullying and heartache in middle and high school because I was a plus size girl and I really hated life because of it. So, I decided to write my story about a guy that was going to commit suicide because he was so unhappy with his life, but he wanted to leave a positive mark on his community before he did. My teacher said it was one of her favorite works ever, in all of the years that she had been doing that assignment. That made me feel really good and I wanted to explore this “gift” of mine more. I then went on a frenzy making everyone that remotely liked me read it and tell me what they thought about it, and a lot of people confirmed that it was really good and that they liked it. So now, I’m trying to work and writing things and developing my ability.

All of that to say, I will be adding a “Writing” page where you guys can go and look at any works that I put up there and comment on it. PLEASE BY ALL MEANS! Comment, and let me know what you think, what you like and didn’t like, what could be improved, etc. Just try not to be too harsh to my fragile confidence lmao. Thanks guys!
